ABOUT BUSINESS:

Impact Services is currently seeking applications on behalf of a host organisation for a Full-Time First Year Apprentice Mechanic. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to begin a hands-on career in the automotive industry.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced mechanics, gaining practical skills in vehicle diagnostics, repair techniques, and workshop operations, while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The apprentice will be expected to:

• Assist with routine vehicle maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Support diagnostic work under supervision
• Learn to safely operate a variety of tools and equipment
• Help maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
• Follow instructions and contribute to the team’s workflow

IDEAL CANIDATES ATTRIBUTES:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• A genuine interest in mechanics and the automotive trade
• A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
• Reliability, punctuality, and motivation
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions

ESSENTIAL REQUIRMENTS:

• A current and valid driver’s licence
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening, including random testing
• National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
